Despite the most recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank {CA), and Signature Bank {NY) these last couple of days, U-lst Community Federal Credit Union Board of Directors wishes to reassure our members that the credit union is financially safe and sound.

Your Credit Union remains well-capitalized and on a solid footing. Our performance is continually monitored through a strict examination process from our federal regulators and annually by a third­party auditor.

U-lst Community Federal Credit Unions’ first priority is members’ financial success and security. The Board of Directors maintains a strong understanding in managing liquidity and the importance of sound investment purchases and has never exposed us to at-risk investments.

Federally insured credit unions offer a safe place for credit union members to save money, your deposits are protected by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund and insured up to at least $250,000 per individual depositor- the same as any other federally insured financial institution.

Credit union members have never lost a penny of insured savings at a federally insured credit union.
